What happened this week:
Charlottesville, Va - White Supremacists turned out to protest the removal of a Robert E. Lee statue, and it got ugly and people died. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/2017/08/charlottesville-attack-170813081045115.html
The President didn’t say the right thing as usual. Not condemning the white supremacists involved in Charlottesville. They took to their websites and were pleased that he embraced them and not condemn them.
All 16 of the prominent artists, authors, performers and architects on the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities resigned on Friday, the latest group to protest Donald J. Trump’s defense of white nationalists after the violent demonstrations in Charlottesville, Va. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/18/arts/white-house-arts-committee-resigns.html
